I had originally typed this as a reply to Josh's wonderful post, but thought that it would be better as a new post, so that replies could be kept orderly.
Anyway, once we get things moving what does everone think about tracking down Campus Ministry Alumni? These people could include: Matt O (Cincinnati), Isaac, Megan (Hooters Girl), Tara and JJ, and anyone else.
We should certainly keep it small for now, but once we get things going, why not include alum? (And Tara and JJ, even though they're not really alum, but they're still members of our family.)

While I think it would be fine to include alumni, if they were interested, I find it hard to believe that many of them would actually be interested.
Tara & JJ maybe. Matt Owens, I don't know--what's up with him? Isaac might enjoy seeing what the group's up to, but I don't know that he'd want to post stuff (but who knows)--after all, he has his own blog and web stuff. I kind of doubt Megan would be interested. She (and similarly Jackie, who many probably don't know) has moved on and is doing different things now (including married life). It would seem odd for them to want to stay involved in what's going on at St. Stephen's.
I would say definitely advertise the blog to the alumni, but I don't know that any of them would want to or need to be able to post to it. They can always comment on stuff, if they want. I guess it all depends on what the group wants the purpose of the blog to be (maybe there is no strict purpose...).
At the least, let's see if Pam can get the link in the weekly emails. I noticed this week, she mentioned the blog, but made it sound like it was Josh's--she didn't state it was for the student group--and that might not have made sense to people who aren't familiar with it yet. If she got the link to it in the emails, then others (especially non-regulars and/or alumni) could check it out and see if it's something they're interested in, and then maybe decide if they want to be able to post stuff too.
