Coalition against the death penalty

The Amnesty International group is asking for campus faith groups to join a coalition against the death penalty, giving the executions that are about to take place in Ohio. A member of the group contacted me a few days ago, asking if our group would be willing to join/support the coalition. Does anyone support (or not) this?
