A belated thank you

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped out with the Youth Overnight and Consecration this past weekend. Josh, Matthew, Brian, myself, and George were there on Friday night with about 100 or more youth, rectors, and chaperones.

And yes, I do believe it was the first lock-in that I was a part of where the kids had cell phones. I don't know how to feel.

If you were at the Consecration on Saturday, thank you as well. Some of us were too tired, after being up until 4 AM the previous night. To top it off, I had to function until 11 PM or so on Saturday night AND had to function most of Sunday (I have no idea how I did so.)

But thanks to everyone that showed up for one or both of the events. History was made in Columbus this past weekend, and YOU were a part of it!

...Don't forget about Thursday, either.

I've been slightly confused as to why Peter decided to thank everyone for attending the youth event before the consecration. If anyone should be thanked, it should be him. Peter did a wonderful and incredibly helpful job as the DJ for the evening, and the event was a success in part because of his hard work.

I will echo Peter's words though (and quite a bit belatedly) in thanking all the others who attended the Friday night event with the PB, Bishop Price, and now Bishop Breidenthal. It was certainly a great time and a wonderful experience (even if only Matt Y. made it in the picture with the PB). I realize it was an easy draw for some of you with the PB and free pizza, but I think it really helped show how important of an event this (and the consecration) was for us.

Hey, I just saw this comment.

Thanks for the "Thank You." I didn't want to thank myself...that would have been a little awkward.

And everyone who came helped to eat some pizza (even if some of it was donated away) or contributed to the night in their own way.
